Running For A Great Cause
Dr. Edward Samourjian is a double board certified vascular and general surgeon. He is a native of Los Angeles who is a member of Glendale Adventist Medical Center where he provides exceptional vascular surgical care.
For the past year, Dr. Samourjian has been on the front lines treating Covid-19 patients in the ICU as well as performing life saving surgeries. He is also an avid runner. This year he generously dedicated his Zion 100 marathon run to raise money and awareness for Orran.
So on April 10, 2021, Dr. Samourjian ran the Zion 100 marathon in Utah (USA) to raise money for the children of Orran and Artsakh.
We are extremely grateful to Dr. Samourjian. His 100 mile marathon run raised nearly $50,000 for Orran’s mission of helping families in need. This money will help us to continue providing daily hot meals, educational, social, psychological services and vocational training for our children including the ones from Artsakh.
