The Apprenticeship Program of Orran embraces youth from far remote villages of Armenia. They are paired with a skillful master who teaches the youngster his/her trade. To date, hundreds of young people have learned and are currently working in industries such as culinary art. hair dressing, manicuring, car repair, catering, breeding animals, design and many others.
Orran pays for all the expenses connected with a six month apprenticeship program plus gives seed money to the youngster to purchase needed equipment for a start-up. We are happy to announce that 50% of the masters offer the youngsters jobs upon graduation of their fellowship.
A $500 donation sponsors 1 youth to learn the skills of his/her chosen vocation.
