For the children of Artsakh, this is the first New Year in Yerevan, and in this completely unusual and unfamiliar environment, they need a lot of kindness and warmth. We do everything so that children continue to believe in the New Year’s Magic.
Before the New Year, Orran organized several events for 200 forcibly displaced children from Artsakh. Children believe in New Year’s magic and they eagerly wait for it.
Thanks to the effective collaboration between Orran and Yerevan Park, 100 children from Artsakh enjoyed an unforgettable day in the enchanting world of Yerevan Park Attractions. Among them were the students of the Artsakh Kyokushin Karate Federation. The children were extremely delighted and, for a moment, they forgot all the hardships they’d been through and spent an unforgettable day in Yerevan Park with bright-shining eyes.
On December 23, “Orran” hosted under its own roof another group of 100 Artsakh children, who received warm coats and winter boots from Santa Claus after a beautiful event and delicious hospitality. The girls of the “No Name” band of the French College in Armenia also came to cheer up the children. Our regular partners, Tashir Pizza and Coca-Cola provided delicious pizzas and refreshments. This year they were joined by Baron Restaurant, who brought sandwiches for the event.
Armine Hovhannisyan, the founder of Orran, welcomed the attendees and mentioned that the people of Artsakh are not alone, and Artsakh is in her and Orran’s hearts. The doors of Orran are always open for our compatriots who are in difficult situations.
At the end of the event, everyone shared a dream, wishing peace to our homeland.
