Learning a trade is a wonderful way to pave your future career or take on a pleasant habit. To this end, Orran offers a number of workshops at its premises: wood shop, macrame, sewing, pottery, carpet weaving, arts and crafts.
The children of all ages enjoy taking part in these workshops and as they are learning, they are also busy all year making relevant products.
Twice a week the children hurry to their classes, and create some remarkable pieces of work.
When a child-made item is sold, the child receives 20% of the income, this way learning to make money through hard work and not through begging. The rest of the money goes into the expenses of the workshop. Some of the children become such good craftsman that they base career on the crafts.
